*What is the NextCo?

The NextCo, or Advisory Council to the Executive Committee of Ahold Delhaize, is a carefully selected group of talented employees who bring a fresh perspective to various strategic initiatives. Each member serves a term of 18 to 24 months and is partnered with a member of the Ahold Delhaize Executive Committee.

NextCo members represent the Millennial generation across the main regions where Ahold Delhaize operates. They embody the voice of new generations while bringing a unique perspective from different brands, countries, and cultures. They contribute strategic ideas to enhance decision-making by reflecting the needs and aspirations of all generations, thus strengthening Ahold Delhaize’s position as a leading retailer and top employer. During their term, NextCo members focus on topics that they select jointly with the Ahold Delhaize Executive Committee.

This year, Nicolas Colanbeen, Director of Fresh Sourcing & Strategic Partners at Delhaize Belgium, has been selected to join the NextCo to work alongside Linn Evans, Chief Legal Officer of Ahold Delhaize.
