Who are we?
What do we want to achieve? Young Ahold Delhaize Serbia is a group that connects our young employees on a voluntary basis to develop together, learn from each other and make work fun. We encourage further professional development of young colleagues in Delhaize Sebia and encourage them on a further career path through understanding and responding to development needs and increasing the visibility and voice of young people through the organization. We share knowledge and best practices among colleagues, learn more about the expertise of others, as well as different parts of the organization and key processes, in order to get to know and cooperate better. We get to know each other better, spend more time together, get involved in various informal activities to add a fun side to the work.

Hello everyone! My name is Ana Petrović, and I currently work as a Category Management Assistant at Ahold Delhaize Serbia. I graduated from the Faculty of Organizational Sciences and I am currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Project and Investment Management. During my studies, I was involved in various student initiatives and projects, including the Case Study Club and the AmChamps program organized by the American Chamber of Commerce. These experiences further developed my interests in organization, management, and teamwork, which is why I believe that being part of the YAD board is a great opportunity for personal and professional development through new initiatives and projects. I believe that YAD represents a great opportunity for young people to connect, exchange ideas, learn, and create positive energy through shared activities and experiences.

It is a pleasure to have the opportunity to introduce myself as a member of the YAD Board at Delhaize Serbia. My name is Ljubica Stojanović. I completed my undergraduate and master’s studies at the Faculty of Economics, University of Belgrade. Since the end of 2022, I have been part of the Risk and Control team in Serbia, working as a Risk and Control Expert. Within the second line of defense, our role is to support management in identifying and managing key risks, as well as strengthening the control framework. In my free time, I enjoy sports, especially volleyball and table tennis. Hiking, traveling, and exploring different cultures are also among my interests. Membership in the Youth Board represents a valuable opportunity for professional development through participation in different projects, knowledge and experience sharing, and connecting with colleagues who share the same energy and motivation to improve our company. Group Young Ahold Delhaize is an inspiring environment where new ideas, initiatives, and connections are created. Such initiatives play an important role in fostering collaboration, innovation, and individual initiative among employees. I am proud to be part of this organization and look forward to working together, exchanging experiences, and contributing to the further development of our company.

Hello everyone! My name is Zorana Krstić, and I am a Business Assistant for HR and Legal Affairs and a member of YAD Serbia. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Czech language, literature and culture from the Faculty of Philology, as well as a Master's degree from the Faculty of Organizational Sciences. I have been working at Ahold Delhaize for almost three years. Since June 2023, I have been continuously growing by developing new skills, gaining knowledge, and connecting with new people. Ahold Delhaize has taught me how to implement assertive communication, apply the knowledge I gained at university, and become more precise and productive in my work. I became a member of YAD Serbia because I truly believe in the power of youth. Young people possess many fresh ideas and untapped potential. Let’s brainstorm, unlock our potential, and make an impact together! Together, we can change the world!
