Welcome to Lion Pride
Lion Pride is a diverse group of likeminded colleagues seeking to build on the core foundations of Delhaize and the LGBTQIA+ community. It is our goal to offer a safe space, sense of belonging and connection within our organization. At Lion Pride we believe in creating and maintaining a workplace where you can be yourself regardless of preferences, gender or gender expression or anything else that makes you yourself.
How we seek to fulfill this mission is by uniting colleagues from every department, proudly showcasing everyone’s talent and diversity and offering events and learning opportunities that help create meaningful experiences and understanding. As a group we are open for all members that wish to show their support for their own or their colleagues’ LGBTQIA+ presence at work. Membership is free and we even facilitate anonymous sign ups!

Lion Pride was created thanks to the engagement of several colleagues together with HR and a visit from Ahold Delhaize Pride to our offices in Kobbegem. Over the course of a year we defined our strategy and goals and today our focus is on offering connection, safety and inspiration to everyone at our organization. We strive to carry out our core values with a strong focus on Fun and Integrity and look forward to hearing more from you about how we can best create positive change.
